Rainscreen Closed
Rainscreen cladding consists of rhomboid shaped boards equally spaced apart to form a decorative façade. Unlike most other types of cladding rain screen boards are not joined together which means that the resulting cladding is not waterproof. Should a waterproof finish be required rain screen cladding must only be installed over a completely watertight surface.
The open joints promotes air movement which in certain installations can be essential. Example would be wood stores and fencing, car ports. Rainscreen profile creates a orderly linear look which is suitable for cladding older, modern, and new buildings. It can be fixed vertically or horizontally producing a highly fashionable contemporary cladding or fencing look.
